Scandinavian Vikings on home turf for Stockholm leg of the Global Champions League

The Scandinavian Vikings were in their home city for this leg of the Global Champions League. In round 1, Evelina Tovek took to the ring on Winnetou de la Hamente Z. Unfortunately, with three fences down in a row, 12 faults were quickly picked up.  Geir Gulliksen was next to take the ring on VDL Groep Quatro sadly it with another 8 faults the Vikings finished round 1 with 20 faults in total.

A change of horse in round 2 for Evelina Tovek with Dalila de la Pomme, however sadly 8 faults were picked up. Henrik von Eckermann and King Edward were next in and the pair were in flying form providing the Vikings with a fast and flawless clear round.

The Vikings finished on 28 faults in total and now travel to Paris this weekend marking the eighth stage on the tour. The Paris stage is located at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in the French capital, arguably one of the most iconic settings on the tour.
