Rossa Ryan achieves Victory at the Breeders Cup 2024

On Saturday, 2nd November, David Ashby Underwriting-sponsored jockey Rossa Ryan scored an unforgettable victory aboard Starlust at the Breeders’ Cup in California. This win came just 27 days after his success on Bluestocking in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
Despite fierce competition from pre-race favourite Cogburn, Rossa seized a split-second opening, and Starlust surged forward to win the race by a neck at odds of 34-1. Although there was a brief dispute post-race, Rossa’s skill and determination secured the win.
